Malaysia eVisa for Pakistani Citizens

A working guide for Pakistani passport holders applying for a Malaysia eVisa: which category to pick, which papers to line up, what the service costs and what to expect once Immigration has the application.

Your Malaysia eVisa Options as a Pakistani Passport Holder

Pakistan features in the nationality list on our homepage, so this site publishes eVisa information for travellers carrying a Pakistani passport. Our online service lets you request help with a Tourist eVisa or Business eVisa application, which we prepare and pass to Immigration for its own assessment.

One limit to keep in mind: nothing here is specific to Pakistan beyond that listing. Validity, length of stay, exemptions, entry conditions and decision times are not stated, because none has been confirmed for this website. The decision you receive from Immigration is the source for those.

Tourist, Business or Something Else

Tourist eVisa

For holidays, sightseeing and personal visits to family or friends in Malaysia. Whether you sleep in a hotel or at a host's home changes which supporting papers you gather.

Business eVisa

For attending meetings, holding business talks, joining events or other business activity that qualifies. Expect questions about the business that sends you and the company you will meet.

Something else

Taking a job, enrolling in a course, joining a relative on a Malaysian pass or making an approved official visit are not Tourist or Business matters. They belong to the Visa with Reference (VDR) group, which the visa categories page lays out.

Single or multiple entries

Single Entry covers one trip. Multiple Entry, where available and approved, may allow more than one entry while the visa is valid; it is flagged with an asterisk because it depends on eligibility, so do not assume it will be offered.

Documents to Gather for a Pakistani Application

Passport and photograph (every application)

  • The valid passport you will present on the journey.
  • A colour scan or photo of the biodata page, complete with its machine-readable lines.
  • A recent passport-style portrait, plainly backed and unfiltered.

Photograph upload instructions appear inside the application.

Travel evidence (Tourist eVisa)

  • Confirmed flight details: a booking or e-ticket under your name.
  • Your e-ticket number, if one has been issued, as additional evidence.

Accommodation or host information (Tourist eVisa)

  • A hotel or other reservation showing the guest's name, the address and the stay dates.
  • If staying with a host, the host's own documents as described in the Tourist guide.

Financial evidence (where applicable)

  • A bank statement or comparable evidence of funds, when the application requests it.
  • A residence permit or long-term stay document if you are applying from abroad.

Business documentation (Business eVisa)

  • A supporting letter from the Malaysian host company or organization.
  • A brief account of why you are going and what you plan to do.
  • Information on your employer or business, where relevant.

Nobody needs every item; the application indicates what applies to your trip.

Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate (If Applicable)

Whether a Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate is needed depends on travel history and route, not Pakistani nationality alone. Travellers should check whether it applies to their journey and carry the certificate when required.

Application Steps, Start to Finish

  1. Name your purpose

Leisure or family points to Tourist; meetings and events to Business.

  2. Read the matching guide

The requirements page for your category shows what is usually asked.

  3. Select entry type and service level

Use the fee cards below to compare Regular and Express.

  4. Prepare each document

Scan or photograph in even light so nothing is cut off.

  5. Fill in the application

Copy names, numbers and dates from the passport, then attach the documents requested.

  6. Cross-check and submit

Match every field with your bookings and papers, then submit.

Service Fees by Category and Entry Type

These prices are read from the Visa Fees page data. Every card shows the Regular and the Express service fee for one entry type, in US dollars.

Regular and Express Compared

Regular

Standard handling: your file is checked, prepared and submitted to Immigration.

Express

The same steps with priority inside our process. It does not change what Immigration needs, how long it takes or what it decides.

What Happens at Immigration

After submission the application is in Immigration's hands alone. It may verify details, request further documents or dig deeper before deciding, and nothing we do can influence or accelerate that.

If something more is requested

Answer quickly and accurately. A request tells you the review is ongoing, not that the outcome is negative. No processing time is stated for Pakistani applicants because none has been confirmed.

Document Mistakes That Cause Questions

Passport copy

  • Cropped edges or a missing machine-readable section.
  • Glare, shadow or blur across the page.

Photograph

  • Filters, retouching or a busy background.

Details and dates

  • A name or number typed from memory rather than copied from the passport.
  • Flight, accommodation and application dates that do not agree.

Supporting papers

  • Host documents missing for a stay with family or friends.
  • No company letter for a business visit.

Before, During and After the Decision

While you wait

Keep travel purchases flexible. Check whether the Malaysia Digital Arrival Card applies to you, and look at your route to see whether the yellow fever entry above could apply.

When the decision arrives

Compare it with your passport, bookings and plans.

On the way

Keep your passport and decision to hand, plus your Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate when it is relevant to your route. Being admitted on arrival is always subject to the requirements that apply then.

Pakistan eVisa Questions Answered

Is this website part of Immigration?

No. We provide application assistance: preparing your application, checking documents and submitting it. Immigration is the authority that assesses it.

Can you see where my application is inside Immigration's review?

No. Immigration's internal systems are out of our reach, so all we can do is relay the requests and updates that come to us.

My flight dates changed. What should I update?

Before you submit, make the flight, the accommodation and the application tell the same story on dates.

What does "subject to Immigration approval" mean under the fee cards?

That every application, whatever the category or entry type, goes through Immigration's own assessment before any visa can be issued.

Which documents belong to every category?

Your passport, its biodata page and a passport-style photo. Everything beyond those three depends on the category and the trip.

How do I know whether a "where applicable" document applies to me?

The application shows what it needs for your category and circumstances. Prepare the items that match your trip rather than every item on every list.

What does VDR stand for on the categories page?

Visa with Reference. These entry visas cover Employment, Student, Dependent and Official Visit journeys and are separate from the Tourist and Business eVisas.

We are travelling as a family. Is the fee per person?

The fee cards show prices per applicant, in US dollars.

Where can I read each category's documents in detail?

The Tourist and Business requirements pages, and the Document Requirements guide, which groups every document by category.
