Understanding Our Refund Policy
We understand that travel plans can change. Our refund and cancellation policy has been designed to be transparent, fair, and customer-focused. This policy outlines the terms and conditions regarding refunds, cancellations, and charges for both Malaysia eVisa and MDAC (Malaysia Digital Arrival Card) applications processed through our official portal.
Please read this policy carefully to understand your rights and obligations when applying for Malaysian travel documents through our service.
MDAC (Malaysia Digital Arrival Card) - Non-Refundable
100% Non-Refundable Under All Circumstances
Once an MDAC application fee has been submitted and processed, it is non-refundable under any circumstances whatsoever.
This applies regardless of whether your MDAC application is approved, rejected, cancelled, or withdrawn. The MDAC is a mandatory digital arrival card requirement for all visitors entering Malaysia, and the processing fee covers administrative costs, verification, and system maintenance.
Why MDAC is Non-Refundable
- •Mandatory Requirement: MDAC is a government-required arrival documentation that all visitors must complete
- •Processing Costs: Fees cover immigration system access, data processing, and security verification
- •Database Registration: Your information is registered in Malaysian immigration systems immediately upon submission
- •No Cancellation Option: MDAC cannot be cancelled, modified, or refunded after submission
⚠️ Important Notice
Travel insurance may cover MDAC fees if your trip is cancelled due to covered circumstances (illness, family emergency, etc.). We recommend obtaining travel insurance to protect your investment. However, our company cannot process refunds for MDAC applications regardless of circumstances.
Malaysia eVisa - Cancellation & Refund Terms
Cancellation Before Immigration Submission
Cancellation Charge: $50 USD per passport number
If you wish to cancel your eVisa application before it has been submitted to Malaysian immigration authorities, you may do so by contacting our support team. A cancellation fee of $50 USD will be charged per passport number.
Example: If you have two passports and wish to cancel both applications, the cancellation charge would be $100 USD ($50 per passport).
How to Request Cancellation
- 1Contact our support team via email at support@malaysiavisa.my
- 2Provide your application reference number and passport details
- 3Confirm the $50 cancellation fee per passport number
- 4Refund will be processed within 7-10 business days minus the cancellation fee
Processing Timeline Matters
We process eVisa applications continuously throughout the day. The critical moment is when your application is submitted to Malaysian immigration. You must request cancellation before this submission to be eligible for the refund minus the $50 cancellation fee.
To check your application status and determine whether it has been submitted to immigration, contact our support team immediately with your application reference number.
After Immigration Submission - Non-Refundable
No Refunds After Submission
Once your eVisa application has been submitted to Malaysian immigration authorities, it becomes non-refundable, regardless of circumstances.
Why Applications Become Non-Refundable After Submission
- ✓Your personal data has been registered with Malaysian immigration systems
- ✓Government processing fees have been incurred
- ✓Your application is in official government processing
- ✓Cancellation requires government coordination and processing
❌ Not Refundable After Submission
Applications cannot be refunded, cancelled, or modified after submission to immigration, regardless of:
- • Change in travel plans
- • Medical emergencies or illness
- • Family circumstances
- • Financial constraints
- • Application rejection (applicant is not responsible for rejection decisions)
- • Application delays
Application Approval & Rejection
If Your Application is Approved
You will receive your eVisa via email. The fee is non-refundable even if you choose not to travel or not to use the eVisa. However, you retain the right to travel to Malaysia within the validity period of your eVisa.
If Your Application is Rejected
If your eVisa application is rejected by Malaysian immigration authorities, no refund will be issued. The application fee is non-refundable regardless of rejection reasons. You may reapply with a new application fee, addressing any issues that led to the initial rejection.
We recommend contacting Malaysian immigration authorities or our support team to understand reasons for rejection and address them in a reapplication.
Travel Insurance Recommendation
We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance that covers trip cancellation. Travel insurance may cover eVisa and MDAC fees if you need to cancel your trip due to covered circumstances such as:
- • Medical emergency or illness
- • Family death or serious illness
- • Job loss or business closure
- • Natural disasters or extreme weather
- • Government travel warnings
Travel insurance provides financial protection for your entire trip investment, including visa and arrival card fees. Please consult insurance providers for specific coverage details.
